ReBOTTLE was born in 2016 in Alentejo, Portugal by Shani Alamgor. We created a premium quality stainless-steel, reusable and insulated water bottle covered with cork—a beautiful fusion of modern functionality and traditional Portuguese craftsmanship. The cork coating is handcrafted by local artisans using natural eco-friendly materials, re-embracing tradition and quality with a design that is both hip and practical. Each piece is unique due to the variety of textures and patterns of this organic material.

Luis Vaz is the manager of our studio, overseeing all operations from laser engraving to stock management, order preparation and worldwide shipping. We pack our products ourselves with great love, care and intention—wrapped within every package is also our hope for a sustainable, healthy and respectful future for our planet and all its inhabitants. ReBOTTLE packaging is plastic-free, and we invest and focus on zero waste: there is practically no waste involved in the cork harvesting process, and any waste that does exist is 100% organic and compostable.

The cork industry is considered highly sustainable—the trees are not cut down but continue to prosper, regenerate their bark, and act as a green lung for the planet. The harvesting is done by hand, without polluting machinery, and has very low environmental impact. Cork is a renewable resource that embodies everything we believe in: respect for nature, traditional craftsmanship, and conscious production.
